Alice Fargier is French-Swiss. At a very young age she tarts to show interest to the world of the theatre and start to adapt short plays from Jean Tardieu : Oswald et Zénaïde (Conservatoire National Supérieur d’Art Dramatique), Finissez vos phrases ! (Château de Chamarande), Nocturnes (Théâtre du Chaudron).
She then start to work with the film director Srinath Samarasinghe on the Scenario of his feature film Un nuage dans un verre d’eau. Alice Fargier then start to work as assistant director for Asian movies directors : Hong Sang Soo (Nuit et jour) et Tsai Ming Liang (Visages). Then she becomes part of the Maison de la radio and start to create Sound experiences for France Culture : Alma voit les sons, Nasim, ou le désir en mouvement, Esprit libre, portrait d’une génération de cinéastes. She also start working on experimental films : Alice dans ma tête (Prix vidéoformes 2013), Entre les cours de Jean-Henri, in honor of Jean-Henri and Kâbus, shot in a recently made residence for artist in Turkey.
Le Mur et l’Eau, her first documentary short is selected and awarded in many foreign film festival and nominated in the category BEST SHORT FILM at the Prix Cinema Suisse 2016.
