Tiphaine Véron is 36 years old when she travels to Japan in the summer of 2018. The first stop of her trip: the city of Nikko. On July 29, after having breakfast at the hotel, she mysteriously disappears. Yet, her passport and all her belongings were still in her room. Since then, her family has been conducting their own investigation in a country where missing persons are not really searched for… Years later, her brother and sister return to the place where she vanished. Their harrowing search to find Tiphaine is captured on film by their childhood friend.
