La Petite Classe: Growing Through Nonviolent Communication

Their names are Tom, Kamila, Alyzée, Marwan, Bloo, Ilyes… There are eighteen of them, between two and three years old. And they are already going to school, in a very small preschool class at a public nursery school near Angoulême. There is laughter, tears, shouting, singing, babbling… all under the caring gaze of Katia, their teacher, trained in Nonviolent Communication, guided by immense patience and an unshakable faith in every child. With her, they discover others, sharing, and language—opening doors to the world.
