Metropolitan Chorus

Twice a week, employees of the Moscow Metro get together to sing in the Metro Choir. In another life, the welder was a rock guitarist in Kazakhstan, the cashier took acting lessons, the train maintenance manager was a pianist for a famous tenor… With the choir, they regularly find themselves in the spotlight, leaving behind for a while the darkness of the tunnels, the noise of the depot, and the hustle and bustle of the station. But for how much longer? Caught between the central management of the metro, which relies on the choir to enhance its prestige, and the station managers, who, in the name of profitability, seek to silence these voices underground, the singers try to reconcile their work and the choir, whatever the cost.
