Synopsis
September 2006, May 2007, the film takes place throughout the campaign for the new president of the French Republic. At a café, at the hairdressers, in a workshop, in places we live, in places we work, we met each other. Moments chosen from a country’s life. Keeping a good distance from simplistic ideas and ambient cynicism, we met, us, inhabitants of this country, to speak about the times to come, about the rupture that has been so repeatedly announced, about our ambitions and the complexity of the world.
