Since 2012, we at SaNoSi Productions have been moving forward with passion and curiosity. We’ve had the pleasure of producing nearly 80 films — short films, documentaries, and fiction — for both television and cinema. Convinced that the richness of cinema lies in the diversity of voices, we make it a point to support new forms of storytelling: over half of our films are debut works, created by filmmakers from around the world.

In 2018, two documentaries we produced — To the Four Winds (LIBRE) by Michel Toesca and Le Grand Bal by Laetitia Carton — were selected for the Cannes Film Festival. To the Four Winds received a Special Mention for the Œil d’Or and was awarded at numerous international festivals, while Le Grand Bal was nominated for Best Documentary at the 2019 César Awards.

In 2021, we continued our international outreach with H6 by Chinese director Ye Ye, screened as a Special Screening at Cannes, and FREDA by Haitian filmmaker Gessica Généus, selected for the Un Certain Regard section. FREDA went on to receive over 25 international awards, and H6 enjoyed a successful theatrical run.

In 2023, we co-produced In the Rearview (Pierre Feuille Pistolet) by Maciek Hamela, offering a unique perspective on the early stages of the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. The film was selected for the ACID program at Cannes and won awards at numerous festivals around the world.

In 2025, Always, a feature-length documentary by Chinese director Deming Chen, co-produced by SaNoSi Productions, won two major international awards: the Best Film Prize in the International Competition at the 26th Jeonju International Film Festival (JIFF 2025) in South Korea and the DOX:Award, Grand Prize at the Documentary Film Festival (CPH:DOX) in Denmark.

Today, we are developing around thirty projects for 2025, two-thirds of which are led by women filmmakers — a continuation of our commitment to gender parity and diversity.

These films will soon be available on our very own platform, SaNoSi.live. Launched in 2023, we are diversifying our distribution channels by offering our catalog online, alongside traditional broadcasting on television and in cinemas. This platform also allows us to host special event releases, such as the series Another Way (Autrement) by Michel Toesca, in partnership with Mediapart, BipTV, and Vosges TV.

Each project we take on is the result of a collective and human journey, driven by a desire to support bold and committed storytelling, and to foster meaningful encounters between works and audiences.
